gfal2-xrootd is a public project setup from the work of the Arc Community ( http://www.nordugrid.org/arc/ ) that aims to create a plugin for GFAL 2.0 (https://svnweb.cern.ch/trac/lcgutil/wiki/gfal2) in order to support the xrootd protocol.
