Adept should always strive to be a dependency management system:

1. Which is PREDICTABLE
2. Which is FAST
3. Makes it easy to DISCOVER new dependencies
4. Which is DEBUGGABLE

What Adept does is to get the artifacts (jars, zips, ...) you need in a quick and reliable manner. Adept also makes it possible to discover and debug dependencies.

Adept does not build your project or have plugins.

Adept is flexible through its API which is extensible and composable.
