Setting up a new mac (This should only take 2-3 minutes and configure basic access for next steps)

• Power up the machine ;-) You will need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor
• Wait for it to see that you don’t have a bluetooth connected or until it connects the bluetooth devices
• Select “Use English for the main language”
• Select “United States”
• Select “U.S.”
• Don’t connect to wifi
• “Don’t transfer now”
• Agree to the License
• Click “Continue” without entering any info ** Click “Continue” on the pop-up warning
• Create Your Computer Account: ** Full name: “admin” ** Account name: “admin” ** Password: password
• Click “Continue”
• Cupertino, CA – United States (should auto complete)
• Login
• Open System Preferences
• Select Sharing ** Activate “Remote Login” ** Activate “Remote Management” *** Select all options EXCEPT “Show when being observed”
