General notes

The back room has a large capacity - probably up to 100 people.

The skylight windows have no curtains, and as such the sunlight renders the projector unreadable in the summer months.

It is a noisy environment (with kitchen and front dining room noise), so using the PA is recommended. There is a cordless microphone available, but bringing your own headset mic is preferred (leaving hands free for typing).

The data projector is adequate. The HDMI cable is located coming down the wall at the side of the stage near the PA gear. If you intend to type on your laptop and face the audience, bring a HDMI extension cable. If you require audio output, use a separate cable (eg. 3.5mm to RCA) and connect directly into the mixer.

A/V setup

1. Turn on the power to the projector (lower middle light switch, right panel, on wall behind audio gear)
2. Locate the projector remote control (usually near audio gear), point at projector and turn projector on.
3. Turn on all the amplifiers.
