The Midterm will take place in class on MARCH 19 at 6:30 PM sharp. Weight: 20% of your final grade.
WEEK 8 - MARCH 19 • IN CLASS • MIDTERM: We meet in our usual classroom for a sit down exam.
HOMEWORK FOR NEXT WEEK: READ: Siapara, Eugenia. Chapter 7: New Media and Journalism (pages 137-160), Understanding New Media
The exam will consist of true/false, multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and two short essay questions. The questions will be based on the material we covered in the first-half of the course, corresponding to the principles & impacts of new technology, digital communication, and the Internet.
300-450 words are required for the essay questions. Answer them both. Bring 2 writing implements. The Exam will be printed and extra paper will be provided.
