Presentation:

For next week’s class, prepare to give a 10-minute, informal presentation of your art and/or design practice (which can include traditional, digital, and/or interactive media). Please select a few works to show us, with documentation easily accessible for your presentation (posted online, organized on a flash drive, etc.).

Getting Organized:

Gather/purchase required materials for class (most critically, the Shiffman book).

Upcoming Show Reviews for Interactive and Code-driven Artworks:

Two short art reviews are due (200-500 words), one by midterm (October 18th) and one by the end of the semester (December 13th). Start looking around at museum and gallery listings, to see where interactive and code-driven artworks are being exhibited. We will compile an ongoing list as a class, with exhibits to check out.
