1/24/2019: Today we met up with Dr. Sabrina Brown. We discussed the specifics of what she would like to expect from us at the end of the semester. We talked about the requirements that is needed for the App. We set a time to meet next week with Dr. Sabrina Brown and one of her Colleague's Arnie Stromgberg because we are going to have to talk to him about migrating the information to the uky servers. My group and I also decided on weekly team meetings every Monday just so we can get ahead of schedule and stay on top of our work.

1/28/2019: Today we had our first official meeting as a group, we discussed the programming language that we want to use for our app which could work on both iOS and Android, and we also discussed what kind of platform we could use to build our application that would also work for iOS and Android. We also talked about the design we would like our app to look like. We also talked about what requirements are needed for the app and the requirements that were going to be used for the use cases, the work was split by all four of us and turned it in canvas.

1/31/2019: Today we had another meeting with Dr. Brown and one of her colleagues that she works with in the Public Health department. We talked more on how she would like the application to look like and what logo and colors she would like on the application. Dr. Brown also talked with Arnie who is in charge of the servers here at uky and gave us two option thats could be used for the database, either redcap or SQL. As a group we chose SQL since it would have been easier and more user friendly for all of us. We decided on a second meet up time for Tuesday, 5th of February, just to show her our plan and what else needs to be done.

2/4/2019: Today me and my group met and we talked about what we wanted to talk about in our meeting with Dr. Brown on Tuesday, we wanted to ask Dr. Brown about some of the requirements and to make sure that we are executing it the way she would like us to. We also discussed and split up the work for the Project Plan Assignment that is due on the 15th of February. We tried to split up the work equally between us 4 so that it would be fair and we would all be able to have the same amount of work. We also decided that we did not meet with Dr. Brown weekly but instead we decided to start meeting her biweekly and if we needed anything, messaging would suffice.

2/5/2019: Today we had another meeting with Dr. Brown just so we could be able to finalize the final requirements for our application. We also talked to Dr. Brown about the logo that she would like us to use, she gave us a rough idea but said that she'll provide with a logo. Dr.Brown also suggested that we use Fayette County's for a guide to use the DSI online form. We also talked about the different permissions each coroner would be able to have, so we said that different coroners will be able to give access to other coroners in the system if they need to view their forms. We also decided that the coroners and deputies will first have to sign up in the computer in order to be in the database, and then they can easily sign in the app with that same username and password. We set up the next meeting with Dr. Brown for February 26, 2019.

2/11/2019: Today we had another group meeting. In this meeting we discussed what things we had completed for the project plan assignment, in the Project plan assignment, I was in charge of the user interactions, system model and the conclusion. We also completed the rest of the work like the metrics and the planning and estimating together as a group because we found it was easier rather than splitting the work between the four of us. We also wrote a tentative schedule of what we would like to accomplish and when we would like it to be accomplished. So far there has been no issues during our group meeting, we as a group are agreeing on how we would like things to go and how we would like our application to look like.

2/26/2019: Today we met up with Dr. Sabrina Brown, and we showed her our project plan assignment just to get her feedback and see if we missed anything, or if we got anything wrong. Dr. Brown was very happy and satisfied with our project plan and told us that we were on the right track on building her application that way it is intended to work. We also signed up with the Fayette county coroner system with the help of Dr. Brown to get an overview on how the application's folder should look like, all we are waiting for is the authorization to be able to get into the system. We also talked about setting a meeting with Dr. Brown's colleague Arnie to talk about the databases that the application will be using. After our meeting with Dr. Brown, we had our group meeting because we could not meet as a group on Monday. Alex showed us how to upload our code to the git repository, and Michael explained to us how he coded out login page for the application. We also split up the architecture assignment between the four of us and planned to get it done before Sunday. We also planned to meet on Sunday to write up our presentation go over it before we have to present to the class.

3/3/2019: Today we put up as a group to discuss and finalize out architecture assignment, we split the assignment equally between the four of us. I was in charge of the testing part of the assignment, I came up with 10 test case that we are going to need to let us test the application and make sure that our application is working according to the design specification of Dr. Brown. We as a group did the metrics specification and updated it from last week's assignment. We also discussed the presentation for the architecture assignment and split up the parts for each group member to talk about in class. We also set up a meeting on Monday with the presentation U to go over the presentation to make sure that is good to present.

3/25/2019: Today during our group meeting, we focused on splitting up the coding parts so we can make it easier for each of us. Michael took over the login page and the landing page, Danny took over the voice-to-text dictation and the GPS location, and Alex and I are going to focus on the main application form for the app. Alex and I decided to meet up on Thursday to knock them all out so the we would all be able to focus on linking everything together. We also decided on what we need to discuss with Dr. Stromberg and get the part for the databases done.

3/26/2019: Today we met up with up with Dr. Stromberg and one of his IT technicians and came up for a solution for the database part for the application. Dr. Stromberg and his IT technicians are just going to build a simple virtual machine that is going to connect to our application where all the information is going to be stored once anyone saves a form. We also talked to Dr. Brown and updated her on where we were in building application, we also talked to her about an issue with the KVDRS website that was going to be out outline in coding the application forms, however, if the website is not going to be fixed by Thursday, then we can just follow the DSI pdf version.

4/1/2019: During Today's meeting, we talked about what is left that we need to do in order to get the app ready and running on time to show our customer, Dr. Brown on the 26th of April. We are almost done with core of the application form, we just have three more sections left to do, and then have to incorporate the save and upload button. We then all have to meet as a team to incorporate all the files together and make sure that the whole app works together. We also set up a meeting with Dr. Brown next Tuesday to show her what we have with the application so far and to see if there needs to be any changes made. I am also going to try to work on the Logo for the DSI app.
