Updating your VRT NU add-on
This ought to work out-of-the-box.
Automatic updates
By default your Kodi setup will update its repositories once every day (every 24 hours). If a newer version is available and you did not disable automatic updates, your Kodi will automatically update the VRT NU add-on to the latest available version.
Get your updates faster
You can manually trigger a repository update to get your updates faster. Simply go to the following menu:
Settings » Add-ons » Install from repository » Kodi Add-on repository
Either right-click on Kodi Add-on repository and select Check for updates in the context-menu. Or click to the left to select Check for updates.
This will update the repository that holds the VRT.NU add-on and it will cause the add-on to update to the latest version available.
Manual updating
Installing other releases
If the latest release is not yet available in the Kodi Add-on repository or you like to downgrade, you can download a different version as ZIP file from our GitHub releases page, transfer it to your Kodi system and install it manually:
Settings » Add-ons » Install from zip file
then select the ZIP file you just downloaded.
Running the latest development branch (master branch)
By far the easiest way to test the latest and greatest code is by downloading the master branch ZIP archive. You can do this from the GitHub project page using the Clone or download button and clicking Download ZIP.
Then transfer the ZIP file to your Kodi system and install it manually:
Settings » Add-ons » Install from zip file
then select the ZIP file you just downloaded.
Running another feature branch or Pull-Request
See Testing on how to create a ZIP file from a specific branch to modify, improve and test.
