Connecting To Viper - adamjberg/RIME GitHub Wiki

In order to connect to ViPer you need to make sure you have properly installed and setup ViPer onto a computer. If you haven't already done so, follow the instructions here: https://github.com/isha/Viper/wiki/Installation

After you have ViPer running on the computer you wish to connect your RIME device to, follow the instructions below:

• Run ViPer
• Launch RIME on your mobile device
• Tap the Connection Setup button on the RIME home screen
• Your device ID will automatically populate as: "oijgoaij2ojgawojfiawfjoa". If you use multiple device IDs you will use multiple RIME channels. More info on this can be found in the Working with Pure Data section of the ViPer Wiki : https://github.com/isha/Viper/wiki/Working-with-Pure-Data
• Find the IP address of the computer you wish to connect to.
• Enter the found IP address into the IP text field.
• The Port number can be anything from 11000 - 11015
• Press send, and you will be connected to ViPer!
