Purpose

ACM-W is approached by many different companies and groups (within and without the U of M community). Therefore, it is extremely important that we have members dedicated to fielding these inquiries so that ACM+W can take advantage of some of these opportunities. A lot of the times, these groups or companies are visiting the U and are willing to put on events in partnership with ACM-W to draw more attention to their event. These events are often very low effort for ACM-W and are a good way for us to get our name out.

We can also help other community groups by sharing volunteer opportunities with our members and getting a chance to help out the community outside of campus!

We may also work with other student groups on campus to put on events. The events can help us, once again, get our name out to students from technical or other majors who may not be exposed to our marketing materials.
