Registration

Sign-ups typically open in July. Watch out for "In the Know" emails.

Preparation

Prepare stencils a few weeks before the event. It's super cool to use laser cutters. Make sure to use a thin material (like 1/16") so that it's easy to trace the stencils, though. Info about laser cutting can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JpHI1ab5cOqjf6Y1PttlIn-0-GRAPRQvMxiKsySMY34/edit Designate at least one representative to sign in and claim a panel early in the morning on the day-of.

Day(s)-Of

Show up at least a half hour before sign-in opens for a decent spot. (Sign in opens an hour or so before painting starts.) it's great to go with ACM-W so that our panels are next to each other. Bring:

• painter's tape
• pencils for tracing stencils
• scisors to trim stencils
• small brushes -we may have some in our arts and crafts box When painting, especially background colors, do two coats of - it makes a difference. Use painter's tape! Press it down for a good seal that creates clean lines
