What infrastructure does the journal use? - acm-toce/documentation GitHub Wiki

There are several services that host critical information infrastructure for the journal. These include:

  • The acm-toce GitHub organization, which hosts this repository.
  • This documentation repository, which hosts all documentation about the journal.
  • An ACM ManuscriptCentral instance (also known as ScholarOne), which hosts all peer review data. This includes the many email templates used to structure the various events that can happen during peer review, which the EiC can edit from the email templates link on the dashboard.
  • The ACM Digital Library Journal Page, which currently contains policies and editorial board membership, in addition to links to all journal content. This is overseen by the ACM Journals Manager, who generally reviews all changes.
  • Social media accounts are managed by TOCE EiC and/or volunteers from the editorial board. Accounts are linked to a Buffer account to allow easier scheduling of posts.
    • The ACM TOCE Twitter account. This is not used because Elon Musk is a transphobic, fascist asshole.
    • The ACM TOCE Bluesky account.
    • The ACM TOCE Facebook account.
    • The ACM TOCE Instragram account.
    • The ACM TOCE LinkedIn account.
  • A private spreadsheet of editorial board members maintained by the EiC to track historical board membership, expertise, and other helpful notes for paper assignments.
  • A reviewer pool spreadsheet, which contains metadata about past volunteer reviewers.
