Use VAMOverlays by hazmhox to allow fade in and fade out transitions.

This is especially useful when using poses, since this will gracefully transition to black between poses. You can configure VAMOverlays on an atom and inform Timeline of which atom has the plugin in the sequence screen, then simply tick the Apply pose on transition on animations for which you want to have transitions.
