Serial UART - acc-/tplink-archer-c2300 GitHub Wiki

Archer C2300 has a serial UART pins exposed - TTL 3.3v level. It can be accessed very easily without opening the router! Just two needles required :)

See a photo of Archer's C2300 back view: back of Archer C2300

Take a close look of your router and you will see 4 pins on the PCB board very easily accessible via ventilating holes.

The pins, from LEFT to RIGHT (the last one to the RIGHT has square pin, while other are round).

  1. vcc 3.3v - do not connect to your usb-ttl serial adapter
  2. gnd - it's easier to get gnd from antenna connector on the top
  3. rx (green wire on the photo)
  4. tx (blue wire on the photo)
