**Procedure of Week 7 Lab: Server Core and File Services ****** Configuring the File server with CLI and AD's Server Manager
Upon turning on the File server for the first time, this will appear:
Choose okay and set the administrator's password. This I> > s the local admin account.

This will pull up the server configuration window Choose option 1 to change the domain to aalokozay.local Choose option 2 to change the computer name to FS01-aalokozay Choose option 8 to change the following network settings accordingly: Ip address, subnet mask, default gateways, DNS server After choosing 8, you must select the correct network adapter to edit.
- After joining the domain, you can log in as the domain admin
- Hit ESC to sign in as a different user.
- If this does not work, review your configurations.
Active Directory > Server Manager > Manage > Add Roles and Features Use defaults and go right to the features section Add the services above Similar process for adding the ADDS Roles and Features:
Right click on All Servers > Add Servers > type "fs" and click "find now" > select the file server hostname > After completion, the all servers category should appear like the second image
Creating a Share on the File Server with Authorized User/Groups
* Open "Active Directory Users and Computers" in the tools section of the server manager on adds01-aalokozay

Click on aalokozay.local > right click> organizational unit> name it SYS255

Click on sys255> right click > new > organizational unit ( creat one for groups, accounts and computers)

Create users: BOB, alic

Creat group: Sales-Users and add alice
