Unmount & Delete NFS and iSCSI Datastore
- In each Nested-ESXi host console:
- Go to
Storage
- Under the
Datastore
tab, right-click on theTrueNAS-NFS
datastore- Click
Unmount
, then delete the datastore
- Click
- Under the
Datastore
tab, right-click on theTrueNAS-iSCSI
datastore- Click
Unmount
, then delete the datastore
- Click
- Go to
Remove ISCSI Configuration and Software Adapter
- In each Nested-ESXi host console:
- Go to
Storage
- Under the
Adapters
tab, click on theConfigure iSCSI
option- Disable iSCSI
- Rescan and Refresh the Storage Adapters and Devices to make sure TrueNAS is disconnected
- Go to
Remove vSAN VMK Adapter
- In the vCenter console, for each Nested-ESXi host:
- Go to the
Configure
tab - Navigate to the
VMkernel adapters
section - Select the vSAN adapter, then click
Remove
- Go to the
Delete TrueNAS Virtual Machine
- In the vCenter console, make sure the TrueNAS VM is powered off
- Right-click on the TrueNAS VM
- Select
Delete from Disk
- Select
