For our Group project we are designing a wearable Bluetooth speaker that incorporates a heart beat monitor, a muscle sensor, an accelerometer, and a LCD Screen. The basic idea for our design is that the music only plays while you are actively moving ("working out"). This is done via a muscle sensor which detects when your muscle is flexing, other functionality being implemented is a step counter via the accelerometer and displaying the users heart beat with the heart beat monitor. One other thing we would like implement would be to display the number of calories burned based on the number of steps taken.
