Here we look at how we can register in an ongoing tournament. We will try and register for the Easy Manager Tourney that we have created in the previous page. The details of the tourney created is as follows:

Since this tourney has Instagram SS verification enabled we have to complete it first before registering our team for the actual tourney. For tournaments not having the Instagram SS option, players can skip to team registration portion.

1. Instagram SS verification

For Instagram SS verification, players have to share screenshot from their Instagram following list for a particular Instagram ID/page. The details of which channel and how many screenshots can be found in the channel description for the ss-verification channel.

From the description, it is clear that we have to get 2 (count) screenshots of Instagram profiles, following the akefofficial page. Upload it to the channel and type in the following before sending the screenshots :

On success, you will get the Easy Manager Tourney SS verified role that enables you to send messages in the team-registration channel. Additionally, the bot DMs you the registration message format, that you need to fill and paste in the 'team-registration' channel.

On failure to recognise the Instagram screenshots, the following error message is shown.

We have tested many scenarios and found our bot to handle most cases. In case a valid screenshot is not recognised by the bot, do let us know by sharing the screenshot and we will do the needful to make it more accurate.

2. Team Registration

For successful team registration, the registering player (here after referred to as the team leader) will have to fill in and post the team details in a fixed format in the team registration channel. The format will be set by the event organisers. The format will usually be a sample set of the following message:

On successful registration, team leader and the tagged players will get the Easy Manager Tourney role added to them.

The successful registration will be mentioned in the confirmed-teams channel.

The bot also DMs the registration details to the players.

NOTE: the bot sends DM to all tagged players on details related to IDP, slot list, etc. Hence it is advised to always tag the group players while registering for the event.

If the message format is incorrect or if any of the details required for registering is missing, the bot will DM the player with the correct format.
