How to test Deep-linking Via Social Media (Twitter/Instagram/Facebook) - Using AppsFlyer.

Request an AppsFlyer account from IT Support
Working VPN pointed to the USA
Pickswise App downloaded on a Mobile Device - For this example iOS device
Login to AppsFlyer and navigate to the OneLink Management screen
Click on New Link Button
3.Select Social-to-app , Select a Media source name and click the Next button

In the General settings pane click the Next button

In the Social-to-app settings pane click the Next button

In the Deep linking & redirection pane, confirm:
When app isn’t installed iOS redirects to App Store
When app isn’t installed Android redirects to Google Play
When link is clicked on desktop redirects to App Store website

Click the Next button

In the Attribution parameters pane
Click on Add parameters Button, and fill all mandatory fields
Click on Create link Button
Note: Within the Param’s The ID value = 311629 is a New article post taken from WordPress Backend (UAT or Prod) The article ID will be in the url of the post as seen below. Click

On the “Your social-to-app link is ready” overlay

Click on the Done Button and you could see below the Social App link created
Please Note :
All media source will follow the same process to create a social-to-app link. Facebook/Instagram/Twitter. So On the New link pane, please remember to select the appropriate media source name.
Once you have the link, you can then copy the link and add it to a social media post.
