Setting up a remote ABC client

Configuring the server side

1. Configure the console and printer ports for the user in the `I screen for outside access. Enter a "2" in field 14 "IP Restriction." With the Enterprise version you can assign an encryption password. Restart the ABC server.
2. Forward UDP port 3996 from the WAN to the ABC server computer.
3. Allow UDP port 3996 in the firewall on the ABC server computer.
4. You will need a static IP address, or a dynamic DNS name.

Installing the client

1. Download from https://www.abcsoftware.us/downloads.
2. Enter the static IP or DNS name, user number, and encryption password.
3. Click Settings > Save Settings after it is connected.
