  • Copy RR_2BOOST.xml from xml\ folder of 2Boost sources to folder with your RomRaider definitions

  • Open RomRaider definition manager, add RR_2BOOST.xml to your definitions list and place it the topmost

Tune

Open 2Boost patched ROM with RomRaider. If it prompts for checksum correction, agree.

All tables specific to 2Boost mod are located in groups which names start with 2Boost.

Global settings

2Boost settings group contains global 2Boost settings.

Map Switch Input table controls how one switch maps.

ROM without Si-Drive support

When Disabled selected, 2Boost maps not used. When Cruise On/Off selected, 2Boost map 1 used when cruise is off, map 2 used when cruise is on if the corresponding hack is enabled.

ROM with Si-Drive support

When Disabled selected, 2Boost maps not used. When Cruise On/Off selected, 2Boost SI-Drive Intelligent map used when cruise is off, SI-Drive Sport map used when cruise is on if the corresponding hack is enabled. When SI-Drive Switch selected, 2Boost map used according to selected SI-Drive mode - Intelligent, Sport or Sport Sharp if the corresponding hack is enabled.

Boost control

2Boost - Boost Control - Target group contains boost control settings and tables.

Boost Target Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost Boost Target hack.

Target Boost map tables control boost in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Target Boost table.

Wastegate contol

2Boost - Boost Control - Wastegate group contains wastegate control settings and tables.

Wastegate Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost Wastegate hack.

Initial Wastegate Duty tables control initial wastegate duty cycle in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Initial Wastegate Duty table.

Max Wastegate Duty tables control maximum wastegate duty cycle in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Max Wastegate Duty table.

Open loop fueling control

2Boost - Fueling - Primary Open Loop group contains open loop control settings and tables.

Fueling Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost fueling hack.

Primary Open Loop Fueling tables control open loop fueling in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Primary Open Loop Fueling tables.

Ignition timing control

2Boost - Ignition Timing - Advance group contains ignition timing settings and tables.

Timing Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost timing hack.

Base Timing tables control ignition timing in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Base Timing tables.

Variable Valve Timing (AVCS) control

2Boost - Variable Valve Timing (AVCS) group contains AVCS settings and tables.

Intake AVCS Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost intake AVCS hack.

Intake Cam Advance Angle tables control intake AVCS in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Intake Cam Advance Angle tables.

Exhaust AVCS Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost exhaust AVCS hack.

Exhaust Cam Retard Angle tables control exhaust AVCS in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Exhaust Cam Retard Angle tables.

Throttle and accelerator pedal control

2Boost - Drive-by-Wire Throttle (DBW) group contains throttle plate and accelerate settings and tables.

Cars without Si-Drive

Target Throttle Plate Position Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost throttle hack.

Target Throttle Plate Position tables control target throttle plate posiotion in different modes as described above. Tune them same way as you tune Target Throttle Plate Position tables.

Cars with Si-Drive

Requested Torque (Accelerator Pedal) Hack table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost accelerator pedal hack. Enable it when you use Overtake button.

No additional accelerator pedal tables exists. Tune stock ROM tables instead.

Speed Density

2Boost - Speed Density group contains Speed Density settings and tables.

Enable Speed Density table is responsible for enabling / disabling 2Boost Speed Density mass airflow calculation algorithm.

MAF/SD Blending mode controls MAF/SD blending. When Disabled selected, no MAF/SD blending is done. When Enabled selected, airflow mass from MAF and SD blends according to MAF/SD Blending table.

Engine Displacement table contains engine displacement in litres.

Volumetric Efficiency table describes volumetric efficiency of the engine.

VE Tip-in Compensation contains tip-in multiplier (in percents) applied to mass airflow calculated by Speed Density algorithm.

MAF/SD Blending table contains blending multiplier. When Blending enabled, resulting air mass calculated by the formula: Air Mass = MAF*(1 - BlendValue) + SD*BlendValue

Overtake button control

Overtake Button Input controls whether to use or not Overtake button and what button is used as Overtake button.

Checkbox name Descripton
Cruise Cancel button, Press-and-Hold When this checkbox is selected, Overtake mode is active while Cruise Cancel button and Accelerator pedal are pressed simultaneously.
Cruise Cancel button, Press-and-Release When this checkbox is selected, simultaneously pressing Cruise Cancel button and Accelerator pedal enables Overtake mode. Overtake mode remains active until the brake pedal is pressed.

Minimum Accelerator pedal angle sets minimum level of accelerator pedal for enabling Overtake mode (together with Overtake button pressed, of course).

All overtake maps are similar as other ROM maps but they are used only when Overtake button conditions are met. Tune them as regular maps.
