Newcomers, especially non-debian Linux users, may find the onionmail docu rather imperfect.

It is not 100% workflow oriented, has many typos asf..

In this wiki you can collaborate so OM will be the #1 mailer of the future.

Important things ONIONMAIL newbies should know but are not told upfront:

• By default, even unread mail is deleted after 30 days. Usually this is documented as a "some days" limitation :-( This will come as a shock to many. OM should be clear and upfront with this harsh fact.
• There is no webmail interface. Use e.g. Thunderbird & Torbirdy instead. But since STARTTLS is unnecessarily used, that will be quirky and requires repeated trial & error iterations.
• Hence even mailing lists must be operated by mail.
• One wonders what the wisdom behind the "short addresses" was.
