Enabling the micro-SD holder on the RE-Mote revision B
A production batch of the RE-Mote revision B
has been manufactured enabling as default the PA6
and PA7
pins as ADC/AINx channels, whereas the expected would be to connect to USD_SEL
and USD_CSN
to enable the Micro-SD card holder. The following instructions explain how to identify if the Micro-SD is enabled or not in your RE-Mote revision B
, and how to configure one way or another, in case you also would prefer to use these pins as additional ADC input channels or input voltage references.
The RE-Mote revision B
schematics can be found Here
Requirements
To use the Micro-SD you will need to solder two 0Ohm resistors, or just short-circuit the pads using a drop of tin. Note as default the RE-Mote revision B
have this resistors already mounted, and only a small batch of RE-Motes were dispatched without these. Please check beforehand if the resistors shown next are already placed or not.
You can use the following resistors P/N: ERJ-3GEY0R00V
Instructions
The next images show the position of the R33
and R26
0Ohm resistors:
R33/PA6 (on the side which has the Zoul and the micro-SD card holder)
The red sticker shown on the photos below is covering the micro-SD holder, to find the R33 resistor locate the Micro-SD holder first.
