Classes

When you load into the game, you will have the option to select a class. DO NOT CLOSE THE SELECTION SCREEN. If you close the class selection screen, it can not be reopened until death. See the Classes page on the wiki for more information.

Getting a Good Spawn

Sometimes you spawn in a bad spawn. Luckily (or unluckily) for you, whenever you die without a bed having your spawn point set elsewhere, you respawn somewhere random. Unless you are playing in hardcore, i recommend dying until you end up with a spawn near a village.

Getting Wood

You can now longer get wood normally. Instead, you must follow these steps:

Method One: Flint Tier

• Find gravel and obtain flint.
• Interact with the flint on the top of a stone block for a chance to get a flint shard (you need at least 2).
• Pick up a stick off the ground or obtain it from tree leaves (you need at least 4).
• Craft a Flint Knife with 1 stick and 1 flint shard.
• Cut grass with the Flint Knife for a chance to get Plant Fiber (You need at least 3)
• Craft 1 plant string with 3 plant fiber.
• Craft 1 flint axe with 1 flint shard, 1 stick and 1 plant fiber.
• Chop down 1 piece of wood and craft it into a chopping block.
• Obtain stripped wood.
• Place the stripped wood on the chopping block and interact with it using the flint axe to obtain planks.
• (optional) Place planks on the chopping block and interact with it using an axe to obtain sticks.

Method Two: Break DLCraft's Progression

• Pick up sticks (you need atleast 2)
• Pick up stones (you need atleast 12)
• Craft the stones into cobblestone (you need atleast 3)
• Wander until you find a structure with a crafting table, and craft a stone axe.
• Follow steps 8-11 above to get more planks and sticks if needed.

Getting a Bed

If you're not playing hardcore and followed the "Getting a Good Spawn" section above, you probably have found a bed at a village. If not, try to find it in another structure. If you're SUPER unlucky here is the way i would craft your own.

• Find iron ingots in a structure (should be fairly easy)
• Craft shears.
• Shear sheep, as they no longer drop wool on death.
• Craft a bed with 3 wool of the same color and 3 planks.

Healing

In DLCraft, natural healing (healing when your hunger is full), is disabled. The primary way to heal now is to use the following items. Each item heals 1.5 hearts per usage.

Viewing Coordinates

DLCraft will automatically disable the coordinates sidebar no matter how hard you try. Instead you must craft a compass, which will show only you the coordinates while in your hand.
