Prerequisites

In order to perform the next instructions you will need a smart phone and the Calculator App installed on it.

Steps

Follow the next steps successively:

• Step 1: Unlock your phone.
• Step 2: Navigate to all programs menu.
• Step 3: Find the Calculator app.
• Step 4: Click on it to start it.

Result

Once you are in the Calculator app you will see how it looks like. It has buttons with numbers and symbols and a display.

Example

In this section we will provide step-by-step examples on how to add and deduct/subtract numbers by using the Calculator app. First we will explain how to add 2 and 5. Then we will explain how to subtract 2 from 5. Note that every symbol you tap on is displayed in the input box(display).

Addition:

1. Tap number 2 button.
2. Tap + symbol button.
3. Tap number 5 button.
4. Tap = symbol button.
5. The calculated result is 7 and you can see it on the display.

Subtraction:

1. Tap number 5 button.
2. Tap - symbol button.
3. Tap number 2 button.
4. Tap = symbol button.
5. The calculated result is 3 and you can see it on the display.
