Application opens from Oct. 1 to Oct. 8.
Please close your ipv6 during applying. Because our limitation to your IP address, please use local client like HexChat.
Server: irc.kshare.club
SSL Port: 6697
Note: You have to connect to SSL port to join DICMusic's official channels.

We use HexChat (Download link) as example to introduce how to join #public.
Start HexChat, you can see Network List:
You have to fill "Nick" "Second choice" "Username". "Nick"is your default nickname when you connect to DIC's IRC server.
Click "Add" to add a new server.
Choose "*DICMusic", Click "Edit..." to open Edit window:
Edit newserver/6667
to irc.kshare.club/6697
; check "Use SSL for all the servers on this network" and "Accept invalid SSL certificates".
"Close" and back to "Connect".
If you don't change this setting, you won't see meaningful Chinese characters (They will display as blocks).
Go to "Settings" → "Preferences":
Click "Browse..." near the "Main font":
We recommend you to use "Microsoft YaHei" or "DengXian".
On the first time you join IRC server, NickServ will remind you "Your nickname is not registered." You need to register your nickname. You just need to register once. But if you do not use this nick for over 30 days, it will expired and need you to register again.
**Use this command to regist IRC nick: ** /msg NickServ REGISTER <NickServ password> <email>
E.g.: /msg NickServ REGISTER abc123 [email protected]
You'd better to use an email address which doesn't contain your personal information.
Send te message as the screenshot, after register successfully, NickServ will tell you "Nickname YourUsername registered."
Use this command to identify your IRC nickname: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY <NickServ password>
E.g.: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY abc123
Send te message as the screenshot, after identify successfully, NickServ will tell you "You are already identified."
You just need to send /join #public
.
Then, you need to send !apply
in #public, then Aobing (our IRC bot) will send message to you privately. Then you may follow the instructions to fetch your personal application link.
Note: You can not submit your application if your application email is defferent from the email you used to fech application link.
