The structure of how content is setup is changed since the update of February 2023. The structure now looks like this:

What does that mean for content managers

A few things: The ‘old’ way of setting up storylines is changed. Where you have storylines setup like this: home > storylineoverview > storyline, have to be changed. The storylineoverview page type is deprectated since February 2023 and will be deleted soon. To avoid content loss, you have to do the following. Each storyline should be connected to a casus (a casus is a new page type). To create one, you first have to create a new casus overview page (also a new page type), just like you created a storylineoverview page, but now you choose ‘casus overview page’. You can add some content to it, and place it directly under ‘home’. After you created this casusoverview page, you can create casus pages, under the casusoverview page.

An overview of casusses will be shown automatically on the casusoverview page. All the childpages (of type casus) will be shown. After you did this, you can move an existing storyline under the created casus. Or create a new one. You can also create new challenge mode or sandbox pages under the existing casus. You should only add a maximum of 1 storyline, 1 challenge and 1 sandbox to a casus. So a maximum of 3 total.

Best practices

After you created all this, you can also add Best Practices. It works the same as casusses. You add a best practice overview and under this page overview you can add best practices. When you create a best practice, you can connect this to a casus. There is a field for that in the add/edit page of best practice. After the creation of this best practice page, you can go to the corresponding casus and connect the best practice as well. When you do this, this pages will be automatically shown on the site, so you don’t have to create the cards/links for yourself anymore.

Interactive overview

An interactive overview page lets you create an overview page of a specific type. You can add a storyline overviewpage (this is the new way), a challenge page type overviewpage or a sandbox overviewpage.

Checklist to do

• Make sure that all storyline pages are moved to a casus.
• Make sure that all the storylineoverviewpages are deleted (FIRST MAKE SURE THAT THE UNDERLYING STORYLINES ARE MOVED)
• Create new interactive overviewpages for the storylines, challenge modes and sandbox pages.
