29th July 2025:
- Fixed Livonia industrial area cave entrance
- Canteens are now repairable with epoxy
28th July 2025:
- Added Livonia industrial cave quest back in (will go live after midnight restart)
- Added treasure photos to journal pouch paper attachment slots
- Fixed player skulls showing skinner's name instead of skinned player name
- Shovels, sledgehammer and pliers can now be repaired with blowtorch
- Lockpicks can be repaired with epoxy
27th July 2025:
- Fixed some issues with zombies breaking open doors
- Added the ability to remove ground clutter objects (tree trunks, stones, etc)
- Use a shovel to remove rocks & bushes
- Use an axe to remove tree trunks/fallen trees
- Use a farming hoe to remove tall grass
- Particularly useful for clearing your vehicle driveway!
25th July 2025:
- Fixed some admin tool issues and a few other minor bugs
- Fixed territory flag attachment slot not being visible to territory members
24th July 2025:
- Made airdrop containers float if they land in the water - use boats (or swim)!
- Fixed airdrop plane lights not updating properly in some circumstances
- Crashing cars at high speed will no longer kill you... but do not recommend
- Treasure photos now only display description for the first person to read it
- Improved engraved weapon sync code, added animal kill count to weapon stats
- We received monetization approval from Bohemia. In exchange for donating $20+:
- We can add your group's logo to reskinned vanilla items (eg. clothes, armbands, flags)
- Items with your logo on it can be exclusive to you and your friends
- We can also add custom camo etc to your items, however...
- Any item which may give an advantage (eg. camo) must be available for all players to find & wear
- Monetization rules are below and on our donation page
Colours and patterns can play a big role in DayZ and potentially provide an upper hand in certain situations. Because of this fact, we unfortunately can not approve monetization of special donator personal camouflage patterns or colours that could help donating players to "blend" into surrounding areas. We can approve monetization of camouflage textures only under the condition that these clothes with custom textures are available to non-donating player as well. You can create for example a perk where players are able to design camouflage texture which will be available in shops and as a loot for everyone in the same way and without any limitations. Small clothes cosmetic customization such as logo, picture or a text are exceptions and can be customized just for the donating player or a group.

- Reduced vanilla shoe damage from walking/running by -30%
- Removed ability to do actions in cars - way too buggy, can't get it to work
- Removed ability to see cargo of bags while attached to vehicles
- Fixed car radio continuing to play even after pressing stop music key
- Fixed a vanilla bug with car attachments GUI and added blowtorch attachment
- Fixed some dog bugs: note - you need to make dog STAY to access its items
- Fixed weed growing too fast and being infinitely harvestable
- Added more weed seed spawns to quests/missions/treasure rewards
- Added red light to airdrop plane before cargo drops, and green light after
- Added ability to "rebuild" those ruined wells with wood over the top of them
- Click here to see what I mean - they're all over Livonia + Chernarus
- They're usually in remote areas, great for building an off-grid home!
- Rebuilt wells do not currently ever despawn once built, but can "break" requiring wrench to fix
19th July 2025:
- Increased charcoal & sulfur spawns by +30%
- Watch GPS now displays the current in-game time on its description tooltip
- Fixed not being able to place breaching charges on RaG large double-gates
- Added hip bag slot to MMG storage lockers & gear stands
- Added blow torch attachment slot to Boomlay workbench
- Added music radio to cars and boomboxes
- If you "play" music with no cassette, random music will play
Known major issues being worked on:
- Items are able to be removed from bags attached to cars in safezones
- Entering/exiting Sarka with an item in hands can bug character
- Server is extra laggy lately for overseas players
- Dog inventory is bugged as fuck
- Cannabis grows too fast
- A few other minor bug reports, thanks!

- Fixed Sarka trunk cargo inventory not being visible
- Fixed not being able to change music cassettes while inside vehicles
- Added separate hipbag slot for certain smaller bags (hippack, drybag sling etc)
- Added car attachments (cassette, glovebox, bags etc) to trucks
- Added the ability for passengers to open the map while in a vehicle
- Added the ability to attach a Compass to the dashboard of vehicles
- Removed ability to put items in hands in trucks as passenger as it crashes the game
13th July 2025:
- Aware of Sarka issue & working on it (cargo is not visible)
- Fixed some of Hunterz mod animals having invalid skinning config
- Fixed logbag causing slow animation when no logs are attached
- Fixed female deer giving male antler deer head when skinned
- Fixed weed plants growing too fast
- Added SpaceCat's reskinned vanilla cars for variety
- Added car attachments + allowed some actions in cars
- Added ability to attach pouches to both plate carrier slots
- Added tasers to world spawns + markets - will only uncon a player causing no damage
- Weed plants will now take 48 hours to spoil after grown (still 4 hours to grow)
12th July 2025:
- Updated Expansion book crafting recipe list to include workbench
- Added ability to attach belt pouches to all 3 belt slots
- Added treasure photo dig count to highscores
- Crafting planks now inherits avg health from the items used
- Fixed pens not being able to attach to journal pouch
- Fixed MapLink Chat displaying the same message from other servers multiple times (I think)
- Increased the time between reading a photo + stash despawning from 2 weeks to 1 month

- Fixed several minor bugs (eg. pen textures, highscores not displaying human kills properly etc)

- Spacecat fixed Sakhal loot issue while I was away (thanks mate, legend as always)
- Made all suppressors (including bottle suppressor) paintable with spraycans
- No-build 50m zones will automatically be created around quest & trader areas
- Brought back highscores (quest points + time alive/other vanilla stats for now)
- Highscore stats are only updated when you logout
- Highscore stats are only linked to your last played server
- The stats do transfer between servers but won't update on all 3
- You can view highscores on quest boards
9th July 2025:
- Added mag obfuscation mod back in
- Count your rounds, or use tracer markers to know when you're running dry!
- Made Rice & Powdered Milk combinable for use with CookZ mod (but not splittable)
8th July 2025:
- I think I fixed the radio static being stuck on after mission notifications
- Added the ability to perform "lazy" continuous actions for those like me with RSI
- Hold down the Lazy Action keybind (Left CTRL by default) when starting an action
- Any continuous action you start will continue until you press any other key
- Remap this key under keybinds -> ZEN -> Lazy Action
7th July 2025:
- Reworked painting system to be much easier for me to config items
- Items which can be painted will say so in their description tooltip
- Fixed fridges despawning and not preventing food decay
- Only works if a truck battery with energy is attached
- The battery will drain over time so check it now and then
- Items preserved by fridge will say "This item is in a working fridge" in tooltip
- Fixed being unable to craft player faction flags and therefore faction armbands & gear
- Fixed yellow king quest helmet (made it invincible so shooting him in head doesn't ruin it)
- Fixed several other minor bugs you guys have reported, thanks.
- Aware of issue with dog attachments - will figure out how to fix Hunterz mod when I get time.
5th July 2025:

4th July 2025:
- Added distinctive sounds to all AI missions to distinguish them as AI events
- Added dynamic helicopter crashes
- The crashes will spawn in regular vanilla locations
- Main difference is the helis actually fly to their crash sites
- You can shoot them down early, but it'll take several hits
- Vanilla heli loot can spawn on them as well as a bunch of new stuff
- Fixed vanilla bug that makes smoke grenades weigh a metric ton
2nd July 2025:
- Fixed treasure photos losing their stash description after maplink travel
- Fixed notes losing their data after maplink travel
- Fixed two human skulls spawning sometimes when cutting up dead players/AI
- Reduced Expansion party invite radius to 3m to reduce utilization as meta-game abuse
- Added unique AI soundsets for enemy AI and some enemy AI missions to distinguish them

- Added DayZ Dog mod. You can travel between maps with them
- Added a black market trader to Tisy bunker on Chernarus
- Requires completion of a quest from Altar FOB quest board to access
- Vehicle trader at Altar FOB now requires a quest from Tisy to access
25th June 2025:
- Removed packaging textures from CookZ to be a bit more immersive
- Made cars buyable at traders on all maps (expensive!)
- Added Ambient Animals mod back in
- Added some boomlay craftable items back in
- Craft a workbench using 10 planks on 99 nails
- Available recipes are listed on the workbench

- Added CookZ mod - find a cookbook in-game to see a list of recipes
- Fixed sleeping bags not lasting under territory flag
- Increased territory basebuilding object limit by +20 to 120
- Made glasses repairable with electronic repair kit like scopes
- Made all repair kits and bandages combinable (but not splittable)
- Made fires last a lot longer with firewood
- Reduced weight of nails to be realistic

- Added expanded HQ building mod (adds new rooms to HQ building - also fixes Hans Yellow King quest)
- Fixed a bunch of minor bugs & tweaked some loot economy stuff (eg. repair kits now spawn 30-100% full)
- Fixed breaching charge not being placeable on RaG double-door gates
- Combination lock owners can now unlock their locks on gates without remembering the code
- Increased vanilla weapon durability by 2.5x
- Am aware we are missing mods & content - I am adding things back in slowly as server performance is my utmost priority.
13th June 2025:
- Made cars sellable at Sanctuary, but not buyable since they're easy to find right now
- Made it possible to "place" sharp sticks around a fire to cook without needing your hands
- Picking up very hot items without thick gloves will cause your player to drop it
- Prevented digging garden plots and worms in safezones
12th June 2025:
- Fixed not being able to climb into boats (they will not be locked at safezones though)

- Added a bunch of new clothing items, mainly to zeds & airdrops & black market loot
- Fixed caves not spawning in properly and a few other minor bugs
- Tweaked day/night cycle so nights don't last as long

- Removed damage impacting ability to sleep as it seems unintuitive and possibly bugged ("too buzzed")
- For reals this time, fixed fireplaces and barrels and garden despawning at Safezones (was an Expansion config issue)
- It was possible to raise your weapon after MapLink travel into a safe zone which would make the guards... displeased
- Added back some of the smaller Livonia modded caves from the old server (not all of them - FOIG)
8th June 2025:
- Fixed Winchester rifles despawning
- Turned on persistent trees mod (cut trees take 24 hours to respawn)
- Made nails tradeable on player-to-player marketplace
- Removed 250 nailbox spawns as it's not compatible with current config
- Added ability to craft vanilla wolf headdress from wolf heads
- Added a weekly zombie hunting quest to Chernarus and Sakhal
- Fixed bear hunting quest, now requires regular bear head trophy
- Fixed some types.xml entries for items which should last longer before despawning (eg. animal heads)
- Removed map transfer time cooldown due to some strange bugs with timer countdown I need to resolve

- Fixed debug message spam when cooking on a stick

- Added Expansion Groups & Book so that group quests can be done
- Groups do not show any HUD info or markers or any of that crap

4th June 2025:
- Re-released server alongside 1.28 update.
- New server is very vanilla-focused in terms of setup, loot config, zombies & animal spawns etc.
- I have limited time to maintain everything so I've stripped the complexity right back.
- We do still have quests and a basic market, all my custom mods, and we also run MapLink now to join the 3 vanilla maps.
- Press B in-game to view the server guide and to send a message to admins if there's a bug or player to report.
- We now run a strict no-compensation policy to keep with vanilla's spirit and to keep my own sanity in check. You die, you die. Get back to your gear or get comfortable starting fresh - it's the funnest part of the game anyway.
