Poisoning

The Poisoning task is a premium task available by default to Poison-type Pokémon. This task uses a Poison Barb (from Cobblemon) as its item.

How Poisoning Works

  1. Eligible Pokémon Type: Poison.
  2. Required Item: Poison Barb (from Cobblemon).

Task Mechanism

  • Patrol Area:
    • The Pokémon will patrol within a 20-block radius from where it was summoned or throughout the entire working area if defined.
  • Guarding and Attacking:
    • The Pokémon will attack hostile entities within its patrol area.
    • Attacks are performed using one of the Pokémon’s four available moves, chosen randomly.
    • Each attack will consume one PP from the selected move.
  • Poison Effect:
    • In addition to attacking, the Pokémon will apply a poison effect to its target.
    • The duration and damage of the poison effect are dependent on the Pokémon’s level:
      • Higher levels result in a longer duration and greater damage from the poison.
  • Damage Calculation:
    • The damage inflicted by the move depends on the move used and the Pokémon’s level:
      • At level 100, the damage is equivalent to the original power of the move.
    • If attacking a Pokémon, the damage is reduced by the target's defense stats.
    • If attacking a hostile entity (non-Pokémon), the damage is slightly reduced due to differences in stats.
  • Item Collection:
    • Once an enemy is defeated, any items dropped will be collected and stored in the Pokémon's inventory.

Summary

  • Task Type: Premium.
  • Eligible Type: Poison.
  • Required Item: Poison Barb (from Cobblemon).
  • Behavior: Patrolling a specified area, attacking hostile entities using one of its moves, applying a poison effect, and collecting items dropped by defeated enemies. Damage and poison effects depend on the Pokémon’s level and move used, with adjustments for the target’s defense.
