Mining ⛏️ - Zanckor/PalmonWiki GitHub Wiki
Mining
The Mining task is a non-premium task available by default to Rock, Steel, and Ground-type Pokémon. This task does not require any specific item to activate.
How Mining Works
- Eligible Pokémon Types: Rock, Steel, Ground.
- Required Item: None.
Task Mechanism
- To start working, the Pokémon must have a block or its drop (e.g., coal ore or coal) in its held slot (Not inventory).
- The Pokémon will look for a block of the same type or a block that drops the same item within an 8-block radius (the same as a player's reach).
- If the Pokémon can access the block (i.e., there are no blocks obstructing the path), it will start breaking it.
- The Pokémon cannot break unbreakable blocks.
- The speed at which the Pokémon breaks the block is directly related to its level.
- If the Pokémon's level is too low, it will be unable to break the block and will keep trying indefinitely.
- Once the block is broken, the Pokémon will drop the item and collect it.
- After breaking the block, the Pokémon will move to the next block.
Pick Up Items
- If the Pokemon is working it will pick up nearby items. Otherwise, if it is not working (even if has holding a correct item, but there is no nearby block to break) it will not pick up any item from ground.
