Lumbering
The Lumbering task is a non-premium task available by default to Grass, Bug, Fighting, and Steel-type Pokémon. This task uses the item Big Root from Cobblemon.
How Lumbering Works
- Eligible Pokémon Types: Grass, Bug, Fighting, Steel.
- Required Item: Big Root (Cobblemon).
Task Mechanism
- Finding Trees: The Pokémon will search for logs of any type, whether treated or untreated. Blocks resulting from crafting, such as planks and stairs, are not considered.
- Cutting Process: The Pokémon starts cutting the tree from the lowest point and works its way up. It has a cutting limit of 8 blocks. If the tree is taller than 8 blocks, the Pokémon will leave it incomplete.
- Impact on Structures: If your house or any other structure uses wooden blocks, it will also be affected by this task. To limit the affected area, refer to the "Working Area" section.
- Time and Efficiency: The time taken to break each block is similar to the Mining task and depends on the Pokémon's level. Higher-level Pokémon will cut faster.
- Item Collection: The blocks dropped during the lumbering process are collected and stored in the Pokémon's inventory.
Summary
- Task Type: Non-premium.
- Eligible Types: Grass, Bug, Fighting, Steel.
- Required Item: Big Root (Cobblemon).
