Class Lab 10.1 RIP Lab - Zacham17/my-tech-journal GitHub Wiki
Summary
In this lab, I configured RIPv2 in packet tracer across 3 interconnected routers.
New things I learned
- In this lab, I learned about how to configure RIP using the command line of a router.
- Commands I used are here: CISCO CLI Console Commands
- RIPv2 is a way to allow routers to connect to other networks without having to use static routing.
- RIPv2 also uses a metric to determine the optimal path for data to travel in order to reach its destination.
Problems/Issues
- For this lab, I didn’t run into any problems. It was a straightforward lab, and I had no issues. There was no troubleshooting necessary
