VNC Remote Access

By default, the Batocera CRT Script installs a VNC server that can be started from the terminal using the following command:

vnc

Example

[root@BATOCERA /userdata/system]# vnc

Recommended VNC Clients

• TigerVNC
• TightVNC
• UltraVNC

You can also use the vnc-scaled command for a 1920x1080 output when configuring from your desktop PC. This will provide more screen space for configuration tasks.

Important Note:

If you choose to use vnc-scaled, it is recommended to either switch your CRT to another AV channel or turn it off while using this mode.

The vnc-scaled command should only be used when the XFCE window manager is active (activated by pressing the F1 key).
