Ropes are a decorative building block.
Ropes can be placed horizontally or vertically. They connect to nearby ropes, and can be used to build complex climbing nets. Ropes are connected with metal-braced knots.
They can be climbed by climbing animals.
Interacting with a rope yields 2 enrichment points for an animal.
As an exhibit building block, ropes are versatile. On their own, they can be used to make cargo nets for primates or perching areas for birds.
When placed vertically, rope can be used to mount enrichment blocks such as the tire swing and hanging browse. Keepers can also use them as part of larger, custom-built animal enrichment structures.
Sixteen ropes can be crafted with 8x String and 1x Iron Nugget.
