Scratching Post

Scratching posts are an enrichment and decoration block.

Scratching posts are a versatile block, and can be used as enrichment by a large majority of animals. Animals can scratch claws or horns on them, rub against them to remove shedding coat or pests, or climb on them.

They can be stacked up to make parts of climbable structures, paired with fences and branches. As decorative building blocks, scratching posts can be used to make fence posts or support beams for buildings.

Scratching posts are crafted with 3x Log and 6x Rope. This recipe yields 8 scratching post blocks.
