Perching stands are craftable blocks, meant to resemble falconry rests used for birds of prey or play stands for parrots.

Birds will perch on the stand if it is available to them. For every 500 ticks they spend on the stand, they receive 2 enrichment points. Since birds generally rest on the stand for fairly long periods of time, placing them close to viewing areas may bring them closer to guests.

One perching stand can be crafted with 1x Rope, 1x Fence, 2x Wooden Slab, and 3x Wood Planks. Any wood type can be used.
