Provide automation to facilitate retrospectives. Using a weekly journal can help you reflect on your week. New features have been added. Additionally, navigation has been added, making it easier to access previous and next weeks.

How to apply a user template to "Weekly Journal" page

• In Logseq, create a template block under a page as you normally would.

  Right-click on the bullet point "・" and select "Make a Template" from the context menu.

• In plugin settings, set the template name.

• If there is no content available on the "Weekly Journal" page, a template will be inserted.

  

• Inserting Advanced queries into the template increases flexibility.

  Note: It is difficult to calculate the week number, date, day of the week, etc. If you have any good suggestions, we'll accept them in the Discussions. Like "Headline", it is possible to have queries built in when generating a page. One other possible way would be to specify some sort of dynamic variable in the template.

🆕 New feature:

Headline

• For each journal, enter a value for the "headline" property and it will be added to the table. Like headline:: It was a very hot day today.

• This is a function for summarizing the day. In addition to text, you can also reference, embed, and place images.

  Note: The table will expand, so be careful. Editing is not possible within the table.

🆙 Update feature:

"This Week" section

• Enabling the page embed option allows you to view and edit the pages for each day of the week without having to navigate away from the page.
• This is a weekly workspace. Blocks can be dragged from the Weekly Journal or across dates.
