The Retrieve Document object is a Modeling Block to use during modeling Templates with the Xyna Process Modeller. It retrieves the current (Template) document. Thus it can only be used between a Begin Document and an End Document.
Please note: The End Document object allows to retrieve the whole document. Thus the Retrieve Document object is only needed if an intermediate result is needed. A use case will be the line-wise creation and sending of command line interface commands and an overall logging of entered commands during opening and closing a connection.
To insert a Retrieve Document object into a Workflow, drag the Retrieve Document symbol 
out of the icon bar.
