You need to install a Java 8 Runtime Environment before playing this game.
For some mods, you need Internet connection.
First, download the game through the latest release. Choose the game jar archive of the latest version and download it.
Then open a console (Shift-rightclick and click "Open Cmd Here" in Windows, search Google for other OS) in the folder you downloaded the file. Input java -jar SoundGuess.jar
and press Enter
It would show as follows in Windows 10 OS(CHN):
For the first time, you are required to enter a username and the system will pop up "No mods loaded". Then you will find a "save.json" and "mods" folder is created. Then put some already downloaded mods (they should be in .jar format) in the mods folder. Then open the program by the command line tool again. You will find a main menu pop up like this:
Click "Guess" and Choose "Guess by voice/picture". Then a new window is displayed.

For guessing by sound Listen to the audio by pressing the "Play" button and try to guess what made this sound. Input the name in the text area and press "Confirm".

For guessing by picture Watch a picture (you can resize the window if it isn't shown fully) and try to guess what is shown on the picture. Input the name of it in the text area and press "Confirm".
Then a popup window will be shown and tell you if you are right or wrong.
You will get some piece of information if you correctly guessed the name of a creature. You can access them by pressing "Inventory" and choose "'s Inventory" in the main menu. Then a window will popup like this:
On the left side choose the mod name, the middle side choose the creature id and the right side will display some information and piece of resources you have like this:
Then click on the resources on the right side, you will see a popup window containing the detail of the information. You can listen to it if it is a music, watch it if it is a picture, open it if it's a link. For all types, you can save it by downloading to your local machine.
