The Point System

  • Experience Points (XP)

    • Experience points are points quantified to represent time spent behind a task. They are a measure of the effort and time a player has put into the game.
    • To keep things simple - we roughly estimate 1 Minute to = 10XP. This is a rough estimate and the actual XP earned can vary based on the difficulty and complexity of the task.
      • This makes 5min tasks worth 50XP, 15mins/150XP, 30mins/300XP, 60mins/600XP, etc. These values are just examples and the actual XP values can vary.
    • The above is have a base XP as there are modifiers that determine the final XP rewarded. These modifiers can be based on various factors such as the player's level, the difficulty of the task, and other game mechanics.
  • Ability Points (AP)

    • Ability Points are also rewarded through achievements, and determined by how much is earned in a given timeframe will unlock different abilities throughout XP.
    • i.e "you've earned #AP in the last..."
      • 1 / 7 / 14 / 30 / 60 / 90 / 180 / 365 days
      • day/week/bi-week/month/bi-month/tri-month/half-year/year
  • Gold Points (GP)

    • Rewarded like the other points, Gold points are the monetary value of the system and can be given, spent, and fined.
    • After claiming a task, GP is deposited to the player's savings account.
    • Player's are able to able to make a limited amount of withdrawls from their savings accounts into their wallets a month.
    • Players are first limited to the amount of GP they can hold, but are able to increase this limit based on the size of their wallet.
    • There are 4 different wallets to obtain throughout XP:
      • Starting Size: 99GP
      • 300GP +1 ^adult-wallet
      • 500GP +2 ^medium-wallet
      • 1,000GP +3 ^big-wallet
      • 5,000GP +4 ^giant-wallet
      • 9,999GP +5 ^tycoon-wallet
  • Health Points (HP)

    • Health Points increase as levels are gained.
    • Different types of achievements require a number of HP upon completion.
    • HP is helpful to indicate how much stamina a user may have to complete achievements.
    • When Health Points reach 0, it's meant to indicate a timeout to reheal.
    • Potions can be given to help heal and encourage.
    • Empty Potion bottles can be returned and sold back to the shop for extra GP
  • Magic Points (MP)

    • Magic points also increase by level upgrades.
    • MP is spent in order to cast spells that can be learned.
    • MP slowly replenishes over time, but can also be repaired by using an ether, or other items.
