Compatibility - Xahkarias/EvolvedOrgansRedux GitHub Wiki

This serves as a more exhaustive compatibility list of mods, and what "compatibility" means for each one.

  • As a general note, all of these listed mods should be placed before EvolvedOrgansRedux.
  • If you use Mod Manager, then EvolvedOrgans will complain if placed in a wrong location relative to other mods.

Content Mods

High Synergy

  • Questionable Ethics Enhanced: Highly Recommended I work closely with KongMD on making sure our mods work well together. With QEE installed:
    • Evolved organs will no longer use my own bench, but instead use QEE's organ vat for growing.
    • Organs will also use QEE's nutrient solution and protein mash instead of my proteins, however they will still require mechanite slurry.
    • QEE's protein mash gets a new recipe to create with humanoid meat that is more efficient than the normal recipe
    • My research tree is redone, with the protein research disappearing and any links to it going to QEE's protein research (you will need to now do QEE research before going down my path). The research that used to unlock the organ growing bench now unlocks nothing and is a gatekeeper to the rest of my research, but now requires QEE's organ vat research to grow, but is compensated by only taking costing 1 (yes only 1) research point.
    • Pawns with evolved organs will have those organs preserved in their genome template, so that future clones will have those organs.
  • Prosthetic Combat Framework: Adds (currently 5 but will be more) ranged weapons that you can graft onto your pawn.

Enhanced Compatibility (adds new organs/features)

  • Humanoid Races Framework 2.0: Some humanoid races are compatible out of the gate, but this is only if the race is not that different from a normal pawn. Any other races will have to be patched. Scroll down for individual race compatibility.
  • Elite Bionics Framework: All evolved organs get added HP values. Everything.
  • Rah's Bionics and Surgery Expansion: All evolved organs must be refrigerated. I admit, this patch was slightly rushed, I should add slight rejection mechanics to all organs, but that is a bit lower on the priority list.
  • The Birds and the Bees: Adds an evolved version of the reproductive organs. I refuse to comment on how this would actually physically look/work.
  • Rimatomics: Adds a radiation suppressor, that when stacked, can completely protect a pawn from radiation. Does increase how much food they consume though.
  • Dub's Bad Hygiene: Makes the evolved kidneys decrease how fast the thirst bar drops. Unfortunately, I cannot modify how long it takes for a pawn to get dirty/use the restroom, these stats are not easily accessible.
  • Supreme Melee: Pawns using tri-plated limb can now deflect both melee and projectile attacks. Chance stacks with each limb.
  • Swimming Kit: Adds webbed legs that drastically increase swim speed. Note: this mod sometimes confers stuttering when you order a pawn through water, this is a known issue with Swimming Kit itself and I have no relation to it.

Compatible

Note: this section serves to list mods that people have asked for compatibility status, and have verified to work without extra patching. This section is only expanded when people request information

Work in Progress: Assume Incompatible For Now

Incompatible

  • Nothing! (so far)

Unknown

  • Multiplayer Mods: I do not have conclusive proof, but I believe that there is nothing strange that will stop multiplayer from working. However, one of the optional frameworks this mod depends on may break it. Please report with any information you can find.

Humanoid Race Mods

General Warning: DO NOT add EvolvedOrgansRedux to any save midgame with other races installed. People will explode. This is your final warning. (Or you could dev mode them back to being alive)

Patched by me (note that with the transition to 1.1, some of these may break, I assume they work until proven otherwise)

Compatible Without Patches: Validated by me

Note: this may be invalidated if the other mod author makes changes that break stuff (chance is low, but gotta warn you). Also, many other race mods fall under the compatible without patches category, but these are ones that I have personally tested.
