Uploading data used in an attribution study

All time series used in a WWA attribution study should be uploaded to the study page on KNMI's Climate Explorer.

For the data to be uploaded successfully the data should be provided as a text file with the extension .dat and the following format:

• Three header rows, each beginning #.

  • Contact details: dataset description, study name, email address
  • Data description: variable name, units in square brackets [], variable description, filename
  • Column headers: year, variable name

• The data should be in two columns - year and value - separated by a single space

• For precipitation, units should be given as a rate: for example, [mm/day] or [mm/season].
