Gridded observational products

Some key publicly available gridded datasets are listed below. For WWA internal data availability check here.

Many of these datasets (indicated with * in the tables below) are available on KNMI's Climate Explorer, where they can be analysed interactively and downloaded (although sometimes at lower resolution)

For some of these datasets, near-real-time updates are available: scroll down to select the 'extended version', which contains the latest available data.

• For ERA5, the extended version includes an 8-day forecast for temperatures and a 5-day forecast for precipitation
