UPlay - WombatFromHell/OriginSteamOverlayLauncher GitHub Wiki
Q: How do I get Uplay and OSOL to work together?
A: You'll need to point your LauncherPath
to the file path of upc.exe
(%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\upc.exe
by default). You can delete the OSOL .ini and recreate it by re-running OSOL again, or edit the OSOL .ini file found in the directory you ran it from and editing the LauncherPath=
line to the full path of your upc.exe
launcher.
Q: How do I launch Rainbow Six: Siege with BattleEye through OSOL?
A: During the normal instructions for OSOL, double check the following:
- Select your
RainbowSix_BE.exe
executable from your game directory as the main game executable - Edit the OSOL .ini file and change the
MonitorPath=
line to the full path of yourRainbowSix.exe
. - Run OSOL as you normally would and it should work
Note: This process should also work for any other games that use their own launcher to launch a different executable.
Q: I can't seem to get the overlay to work with Rainbow Six: Siege (UPlay version)
A: This is likely because of how BattlEye (UPlay) prevents Steam's D3D API hooks. You may need to use GloSC and then follow similar instructions as for Destiny 2 (found on the Battle.net instructions page on the side-bar).
Q: How do I launch titles that have an EAC pre-launcher (The Division 2, for example)?
A: As of OSOL v1.09e these titles should work automatically. If you find one that doesn't please open a new ticket on the project issue tracker found by clicking the 'Issues' button on the top-bar.
