Troubleshooting & Repair
-
Issue: When unplugging an XLR cable the XLR pins pull out from the base of the mic.
- Cause: There is small screw in the base of the mic tightening over time and no longer protruding out of the port hole.
-
Resolution:
-
- Lining up the notches on the XLR pin board and the groove in the base of the mic, gently push the pins back into the base of the mic until the small flat screw is visible through the port hole.
-
- Next, turn the screw CLOCKWISE until it's protruding enough to hold the pins in place when unplugging an XLR cable.
