Link field
- URL: a field to enter a URL. It can be added only once and cannot be rejected or approved. The URL for the object link has two states:
- Full Match - the URL must be an exact match. The post must include the complete, exact URL.
- Initial - using an asterisk (*), any continuation of the URL after the asterisk is acceptable. Any post that begins with the specified URL will be relevant. Text: Link Enter the URL Enter a full URL for exact matching, or use * at the end to include URLs starting with the specified path.
View mode
In View mode, there is a link with an icon.
Edit mode
Review
Reviews will include all posts where the URL was added. The link object won't be added as "an attachment" to the post. Instead, there is a filter on the Reviews tab that helps display all posts containing the required URL.
Additional information
- [object / link] We plan to use direct links to external sites in mentions campaigns. To do this, it makes sense to create a new type of object - link, which, in addition to the URL itself, will contain all the other information (name, avatar, descriptions, votes, tags, etc.). This object will collect reviews of this object and simply posts with links to the site. This object is also needed to display rewards campaigns. #6735
- [link / posts] The link object posts feed should include posts that contain the URL. #6765
- [link / url] The URL for the object link should have two states: full match and initial (using *, which means that after the asterisk there can be any continuation of the URL) #6766 6771
- [social site / link object] The link object type page should resemble a business page. #6782
- [social.gifts / link] when displaying a link object with a URL containing *, when you click on such a link, this service character must be removed to avoid broken transitions #6856
