If you encounter difficulties or issues with HTTPS for custom domains, you must configure a secure connection setting via Cloudflare. Follow these three steps to ensure HTTPS is set up correctly:
- Activate the "Always use HTTPS" toggle:
- Open Cloudflare.
- Select your desired domain.
- Click on "SSL/TLS."
- Navigate to "Edge Certificates"
- Scroll down to the "Always Use HTTPS" section.
- Toggle to activate.
- Checking the Encryption Mode:
- Navigate to the "Overview" in the "SSL/TLS" section.
- Ensure that your SSL/TLS encryption mode is set to either "Flexible" or "Full".
- Reviewing additional settings:
- Navigate to "Edge Certificates."
- Verify that the toggle is active in the "Opportunistic Encryption" section.
- Confirm that the "TLS 1.3" toggle is turned on.
- Ensure that the "Automatic HTTPS Rewrites" toggle is active.
