VFP: Achievements
As of: mc1.12.2-4.1.0 (Oct-2017)
VFP adds a few achievement tasks, goals, and challenge advancements to the game. To get started, you'll need to activate the VFP advancements tab "Food Pantry" by obtaining or creating at least one additive or activator such as Unprocessed Drying Agent or Leavening Agent.

Goals
These are advancements that expose many of the most useful items or features in VFP so if you want to get the most from the mod, you should give them a try. For example, the Powerful First-Aid goal teaches you about Muscle Powder and its beneficial effect when added to certain foods like bottled milk and enriched bread. On completion, most goals give a small reward to the player.

Challenges
Because the mod itself doesn't really have an explicit progression (if you've got the required ingredients, you can make any food or drink in the mod at any time), most of the challenges are designed to reward you for trying different combinations or flavors of a particular food item at least once; for example, you can take on the "Gelo Drive" challenge which is to create and eat every single flavor of Gelo, yes, all 10 of 'em. On completion, all challenges give a nice reward to the player; the harder ones like Bravestomach give very nice rewards!

Unique Rewards
A couple of the rewards for achievements are unique mod items that you cannot craft or otherwise obtain. For example, the Well-Balanced goal gives the player a special "Big-Big Green Salad" as a reward; you cannot craft or obtain this item in any other way, in Survival game-mode.
