• Certain types of abuse, especially directed at individuals, won't be tolerated.
• Initially light touch control but is expected to increase and improve over time.
• Some usage may not be as intended but will also reveal a future feature or direction of the platform.

Society

Unfortunately with any platform where people come together there are detractors who will mis-use and abuse it.

As with any social undertaking, abuse of individuals won't be tolerated. If you spot something which needs addressing please use the feedback form found on the App's about page.

Aero Met aims to provide a pleasant and co-operative environment for all to use. Please act considerately and if you do find something which does not belong or will clearly offend a person or group of people, you are able to moderate the information by submitting a new observation with a note as to why you're acting, i.e. "Previous Submission Offensive".

Creativity

As the designer of any system will know, how you think that something should be used and how the users actually use it are rarely the same.

With this in mind, some abuse of the platform will actually reveal what users want to achieve or what is currently lacking in the system.

Consider this; You are allowed to create aerodromes with little restriction and then submit timely messages about that aerodrome which are displayed in search results to users. Why not, as a flight training school based at Redhill for example, create an aerodrome called "Redhill - School x" and then submit weather such as "school x is closed due to fog.". Now you have a communication platform with all your students. If this were to become widely practiced then there is a clear feature to have facilities linked to aerodromes and allow that type of messaging.

This is a great advantage of Aero Met being a fluid and growing platform, weather is just the beginning. You'll tell us the rest.
