Unique features
Personality test. Based on 25 or more questions Pepper.nl will create a description for you based on the choices you’ve selected.
Choosing people based on their photo gallery. Because most dating apps use text to prove that they could be the one for each other, Pepper.nl decided to change it up a notch and use a photo gallery as the main information you get from the person
Interview. On your profile page you have the option to answer some questions that are randomly generated by Pepper.nl. People then can see the answer to this question when looking at your profile.
Sending messages. If you’re a full member, you don’t need to wait till the other person also liked your profile before being able to chat this person. You can just press chat to chat right away.
Pros
- Good for those who don’t like reading
- Straight to the point
- Shows how much you match to someone in a percentage
- Free (with paid options)
Cons
- The personality test fell short for me. It creates a description of you and puts it in your profile. While the idea is great, the description didn’t really define me.

Romantic & Platonic On this dating app you’re able to choose whether you like someone either in a romantic or a platonic way. They have a heart symbol for the romantic choice, and a smiley face for the platonic choice.
Autism spectrum. This app is for people who find themselves in the spectrum of autism. This is why they have made the app straight to the point, because they have a smaller attention span than people who don't find themselves in the autism spectrum.
Pros
- Straight to the point
- Great concept since it’s difficult for people with autism to date.
- News feed where everyone can post messages and respond to other messages.
- They added a back button for if you accidently pressed the wrong option
- Free
Cons
- They have a small community
